As most of you know, our son Julian has Autism. He’s a really sweet, smart little boy who loves to be outdoors, but bike riding is something he has never been able to do. Unfortunately, there are too many children like Julian with special needs that cannot ride a traditional bike, and special adaptive bikes cost families thousands of dollars.
For this reason, Friendship Circle created the Great Bike Giveaway, a campaign to help children with special needs receive an adaptive bike. If Julian gets the most votes he can win a very special bike! ❤️.
Would you mind taking a few mins to click below and vote for Julian? He needs at least 50 votes to be considered for a bike!
If you are able to also make a small donation, we would be so grateful as there is a chance he could still earn a bike if he raises enough money, even if he doesn’t win! Thank you so much 🙏
Julian is an amazing 7 year old who loves being outside and playing with his two brothers. It saddens me however that he isn’t able to ride bikes with them as he would require a high back seat and strap in order to stay seated on the bike and special adaptation to the pedals as well. In addition steering a typical bike would be challenging as he has impaired cognition affecting his problem solving . An adaptive bike with the option of having an adult help steer while he pedals would be amazing!
