Sawyer is a 13 year old 6th grader who was adopted at the age of 3 1/2 by his amazing parents, Rick and Christy. He has a significant medical history with diagnoses such as cerebral palsy, hypotonia, epilepsy, hip dysplasia, asthma, and others. All of these make mobility for Sawyer very restrictive. In spite of all he has dealt with, he still loves life, music, and his family and class. He brings such joy to our classroom! Winning a bike would be an amazing chance to see his world on wheels!
