A bike would give Kailyn an enjoyable activity to do while outside. It would also provide a fun way of improving muscle function and gross motor skills. It would give her some independence and allow her to bike with friends. It is a positive way to incorporate physical therapy into outdoor activities post surgery. Kailyn just had surgery and plans for have SDR in the near future. Learning to ride a bike is a big milestone for all children that Kailyn would love to have!!!
