Christopher’s Story:

Our son, Christopher, was born with limb differences affecting 3 of his 4 limbs. Additionally, he has been diagnosed with autism that has restricted his communication. This impacts him in multiple ways, but one that has stood out the most as he has grown older is his inability to play outside like other children his age due to his limited mobility. Despite his unique needs, he is an energetic and curious child who loves to explore the world around him.

The Great Bike Giveaway:

We’ve nominated Christopher for the Great Bike Giveaway, which awards adaptive equipment to kids with disabilities that allows them to explore the world in ways they couldn’t do independently. An adaptive stroller would allow Christopher to go on walks with his family, attend appointments, and explore his surroundings more comfortably and safely for years to come.

Christopher’s journey has been filled with magnificent highs and deep lows. As his parents, one of the most powerful experiences in life has been the ability to feel such intense fear for our child’s life and his ability to thrive in a world that is not made for him and watch those fears be diminished by the Lord. Bringing those fears to the Lord and watching Him do what only He can do has been life giving. Christopher was created for us by the Creator of all things, and this is something we will cherish for a lifetime. His father and I will never stop shouting his worth and advocating for him. This is just one way he can be included in activities that are not always accessible for him, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us contribute to bettering his quality of life.
