Hi Everyone!!!

Thank you for checking out Natalies campaign page!! Natalie and I love to be outdoors and active, having a bike would allow Natalie the opportunity to be active and outdoors. She’ll be able to ride bikes with her mom, her cousins, and other family members. This will also aid to the great progress she’s been making. 

A little about Natalie, she was born at 24 weeks gestation due to complications. We spent 146 days in the NICU and she’s been feisty since day one. Natalie was diagnosed around 13 months with spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy due to lack of oxygen and being born too early. However, cp has never stopped her fighting spirit, she made tons of progress, including walking with a walker. At 2.5 years old, seizures appeared. Around 5 years old the seizures had gotten so bad that all the progress she had made, was lost. In August of 2019, Natalie began the ketogenic diet. Thankfully, after a few months of being on the diet, her seizures were controlled. With weekly therapies and a trip to Chicago to attend intensive therapies at the Napa center, Natalie is growing stronger and stronger every day. She’s so motivated to walk and do things on her own. Every day she tells me “by myself”. She’s working so hard to be independent. With this bike, this will allow her the mobility to get stronger and reach her goals in a fun way versus work.
