Lena is a creative visual artist and writer who has been living in Minneapolis, Minnesota since 2017. She was born in Cairo, Egypt and grew up in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Lena has been making art for as long as she can remember. Lots of her artwork is inspired by the outdoors, including flowers, animals, plants, and fantastical mixed media landscapes

Lena loves spending time outside with people she loves to get inspiration for her art, exploring the neighborhood in her power-chair and hanging out in the garden. But there are many more places that Lena could get to is she had this bike. She could go for rides on the wonderful bike paths all over Minneapolis, visit the lakes, and take pictures for her art. When Lena moved to Minneapolis, she had to leave her old bike behind. It’s one of the outdoor activities that she misses most.
