Elijah is not a high functioning down syndrome child but he is not low functioning either. He is very independent and likes to try new things and he's capable of doing a lot for himself but sometimes has a lot of trouble with coordination and certain activities. Our family loves to bike ride together and Elijah has a lot of trouble keeping up on his scooter we have tried a three-wheeled bike and he had trouble steering it by himself. This would be perfect for him..for our family bonding time.
